I love this combination. A plaid shirt can look so lonesome by itself but jazz it up with a few sparkles and BOOM you have a classy little outfit to strut your stuff in. I feel like your stepping it up a notch by adding some jewels, and turning an otherwise farmer-esk look into something a little special.
